Welcome to part 2 of our sunburn prevention series! Sunburns can create premature aging, skin damage, wrinkles & even skin cancer. That’s why it’s important to prevent sunburns at all costs! Do you know more ways to PREVENT Sunburns?

While sunscreen is your obvious answer, there are a few other ways you can prevent sunburns, too!

🎩Hats, hats & more hats. Wear hats when you’re outside – wide brims, specifically, but hats with any kind of brim or bill will be beneficial.

☁️Don’t underestimate the suns power, even on cloudy days! Those UV rays can penetrate those clouds, and you won’t even realize it until it’s too late. This also includes winter time. The snow reflects 80% fo the suns rays, making you just as susceptible to sun damage during the winter as the summer!

☀️Avoid being outside when the sun its at its highest peak (usually 10am-4pm-ish)

🌳Spend as much time in the shade as possible – and be sure to wear your SPF, even in the shade!

🕶️Don’t forget those 👀! Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes, too!

Wearing clothing with long sleeves and pants can help, too, but be sure the suns rays can’t penetrate through them – I’ve seen sunburns in the pattern of the weave of the clothing a person was wearing, too!
