6 Things To Know When Scheduling Your Spray Tan Session
❓What do I need to consider when booking my spray tan?
Unfortunately, spray tans aren’t something you want to book the day you call for an appointment. While we can sometimes make it work, we advise not to. There are some things you need to take into consideration when scheduling your tan!
🌀Shave & gently exfoliate the night before your sunless sesh. This helps ensure we can tan the healthiest skin cells possible and your tan will last the longest. We suggest to use one of our exfoliating mitts or body scrub for this step.
⚠️PLEASE do NOT do this step the day of your appointment. Your skin needs to rejuvenate while you sleep, hence allowing for proper skin cell turnover, which creates a longer lasting tan.
🚫No sweating, tight fitting clothing, intense make-up wearing or using soaps or lotions for 24 hours after your session. (Be mindful of these things for the duration of your tan, as well.) Reason being: These things can fade your tan faster, inhibit the proper development of your tan or create “tan lines”.
2️⃣Plan to have your sunless appointment 2 days prior to an event, and make sure that your tan is the last on your list of beauty services to be completed. This includes nails, hair, waxing and massage appointments. Please plan for those to be completed the day before your tan (waxing should be done 2-3 days prior to your tan).
✅If you choose to have a trial tan done in preparations for an event, do so a MINIMUM of 2 weeks prior to your event tan! We want to be sure that any “old” tan will be removed before we put a “new” tan down.
📅Schedule your tan in as far advance as possible to ensure you get the day/time you want! We do book up quickly, so we highly advise that you book your tan appointments in as far advance as possible. If you’re booking online, & don’t see a spot that you need, don’t hesitate to call, text for DM us. We may be able to accommodate your request!
